Hatyai, Thailand

We’re going to Hatyai, Thailand on the 12th this month. I am excited. I would be meeting friends there for sure. Hatyai has been a memorable place for me. There, I experienced on how it’s really like to live in faith and by faith. I went there without anything but a bare 600 Pesos. I was totally leaping in faith then. It was really a struggle, knowing that I didn’t know what the future would be like. I almost gave up.

God has shown me so many things. The more we trust in Him, the more He would show Himself. He has shown Himself in so many ways. If I can just write in details on what I have gone through and on how God has seen me through, you would be amazed to see where I am at right now.

Hatyai. A time of learning, re-discovering, being broken and shattered but being picked up again.

Hatyai. There I learned the true meaning of worship. No church to lead worship with, no instruments, no nothing. Just my heart and Him.

Hatyai. There I fell. but God picked me up again.

Hatyai. There, a time of desperation, hopelessness, helplessness, insecurities, and a time of nothingness. But God took me out of darkness.

Hatyai. My wilderness. But in that time of wilderness and aloneness, God met me.

Hatyai. My most unforgettable experience.

Through that experience, God has shown His glory.

He alone can pick up the shattered ones.

He alone can comfort those who are in sorrow and loneliness.

He alone can make a person whole.

He alone can set one free.

He alone can give breakthrough.

He alone can give unconditionally.

He alone can turn the insecurities into confident ones.

He alone.

He, my God.

Now I am going back to Hatyai. This time, I am different. No longer an insecure, shattered one… instead, a joy-filled life, a blessed and a blessing to those who, once was like me.

Hatyai. The start of my new life.

Hatyai, I am coming. Again.

“. . . until at last the Spirit is poured out
on us from heaven.
Then the wilderness will become a fertile field,
and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops.
Justice will rule in the wilderness
and righteousness in the fertile field.
And this righteousness will bring peace.
Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever.
My people will live in safety, quietly at home.
They will be at rest.
. . . the LORD will greatly bless his people.
Wherever they plant seed, bountiful crops will spring up.
Their cattle and donkeys will graze freely.”

Isaiah 32:15–18, 20
