Being Called

Louie Giglio had nailed it. Again. I’ve been posting in my FB status that I needed time to take everything in. When I said time, I didn’t know that I needed a LOT LOT of time to do it. I think I need a year just to reflect on what has happened. I am starting with Beth Moore, still pondering on what she shared about being called.

To say the least what she shared… and to say what has stroke the most was: We are not called to be somebody i.e., pastors, evangelists, missionaries, preachers, singers, etc. but we are called to follow Him and we use our God-given gifts and talents to do so.

In our situation where we are at a cross-roads now, it’s quite an eye-opener. We can do other things we’re not used to do and still follow Him. All we need to do is to listen to Him, make sure that the path we’re taking is really where He wants us to be.
